Yonex Challenge Matches In Aono

Hello Everyone

The June 20 and 21 matches in Aono, was a great success for the ITS Ritto,
who participated, Leo, Momo and Taka.

I was not able to see their first day, but according to some coaches and organizers,
and some parents, Momo did a great performance in her matches the first day.
The second day, I was there to observe their matches.
Momo's first match in the morning, she easily won straight sets.
Her second match against Yamamoto, she lost in the final set

But she played one of the best tennis I've ever seen since I coached her in three yrs.

About Leo's matches, he had a very closed matches during the first day, even if he lost, I know he learned a lot.

The second day, He won in three sets against the top player from Hiroshima

His second match, also an exciting three setter against a top High School player from Hyogo,
He won this time, and Im sure he's beginning to enjoy tennis more

Taka's matches, he lost his matches on the first day.
He still need to build some more endurance to play a three setter matches.
On the second day, his first match went in three setter but fell during the last few games.
As a coach, its hard to play a serious tennis while during the term of serious school studies.
So I may admit this case.

Well, these 2 days of challenge matches which consist of top juniors in their category
was a great success from our juniors as well as the others.
With some additional advise and tennis tip from Mr.Koura, gen-manager of Kansai
Tennis Association and Japan Tennis Association.

I would like to thank the organizer of this event for choosing 3 of our players.
And the coaches-friends in based in Hyogo.
Thanking also the President of the ITS Ritto-Sport Coure, Mr. Shibahara,
for giving me these chances to manage the juniors.
